MAN SOUGHT IN RAPE OF TEEN... SAVANNAH, GA (September 8, 2014): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a man who raped a teenage girl in the Savannah Gardens area Saturday afternoon. The suspect is described as a chubby black male, about 5-7, 260 pounds with square gold framed glasses and no facial hair and wearing a black hat or cap. He has been known to frequent the Pennsylvania Street area. The girl in her early teens reported she was walking near a construction area in an apartment complex in the east Savannah area when the male attacked her. Detectives with the Special Victims Unit are continuing to investigate.
