MANCHESTER AND SALFORD FIRST WORLD WAR STORIES WANTED FOR NEW DOCUMENTARY Do you know someone in their 80s, 90s or 100s born in the Salford or Manchester area? Did they have a father enlist with the Salford or Manchester Pals during World War One? If so we would love to hear from you. Testimony Films (testimonyfilms), are making a television documentary to remember the World War One soldiers from Salford and Manchester. The documentary will tell the stories of the Manchester and Salford soldiers who joined their local pals battalion alongside their friends, neighbours and work colleagues to serve their country. Sadly many battalions suffered heavy casualties meaning that individual communities back in Britain suffered huge losses. We want to find the children of soldiers to share their stories and photographs with us to help remember these brave individuals. If you know someone who is in their 80s,90s or 100s with memories about their father - please get in touch. Any information, help or advice on the above would be greatly appreciated. Please do contact me by email, phone or mail. Lizi Cosslett, Testimony Films, 12 Great George St, Bristol, BS1 5RH Tel: 0117 925 8589 Email: lizi.cosslett@testimonyfilms
