MANCHESTER UNITED boss David Moyes claims he is already preparing for summer transfers as the reigning Premier League champions look to compete with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City next season. The World Cup in Brazil kicks off on 12 June and Moyes admits he may look to finalise some signings before the inevitable surge of interest after the competition. The Scot has already acknowledged the need to strengthen the squad he inherited from Sir Alex Ferguson last summer and has now revealed hes already thinking about potential players. Asked whether he plans to sign players before the World Cup, he said: Yeah, I might do. We are getting ourselves prepared now. We cant do an awful lot until the end of the season but we will prepare as much as possible. You don’t always get all your ducks in a row but we will try to get as many of them as we can. I know it has been difficult for a lot of people to accept and understand what is going on but we will make changes. We have said that now and everyone is well aware of it.
