MANKURA WARNS ILOONGAM Dominion Chapel Ministry Internationals bishop, Dr. Peter ole Mankura yesteday warned members of Iloongam ( now written as Loongam) welfare group against what he termed as the spirits of politics, clanism, competition and pride that may hinder them from realise their dream. He was speaking at Olmaroroi village of Kajiado west sub county when he presided over the opening and dedication of Pastor Amos ole Nchipais house and launch of Loongam welfare group. He also encouraged the leaders of the group to think of sustainable investments opportunities. Kajiado West MP, Hon Moses ole Sakuda said he will continue to support the fast growing welfare groups provided they are not divisive and stick to their objectives. He announced that the Jubilee government has allocated Ksh 100 million for the construction of a vocational training college in his constituency. Francis ole Naigisa, a businessman and budding politician hinted that the group is going to explore registering a Sacco that would avail soft loans to its members with very little interest and save them from the many humiliating incidences from credit lending institutions in Kenya. Chairman of Kajiado west constituency CDF, Justus ole Manyara, in his usual characteristic style lashed out to some people, who he did not mention, who continue to criticize Hon Moses ole Sukudas leadership and asked them to give the MP time to deliver on his promises. The meeting ended with a powerful prayer from bishops Mankura and Rampei and overseer John ole Kurrarru of Shilloh Domininion church, Kimuka.
