Responsibilities Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Qualifications Intel is looking for candidates with 3 or more years of recent military technical training including the ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in electronics or digital circuitry, experience with end-user computer skills and navigation, schematic/wiring diagram reading, electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance and the testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment. Ability to communicate through verbal, email, and provided text devices with colleagues and customers internal to the factory operation. Ability to work on a compressed work week schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four nights a week. We are looking to fill positions primarily on two different night shifts. Sun, Mon, Tues every other Sat night (Shift 4); and Wed, Thurs, Friday every other Sat night (Shift 6).
