“ MARANAO MUSLIMS HIT JEWISH FUNDS IN AGUS HYDRO PLANTS, DEFECTIVE DESIGNS UNCOVERED.” Cairo, Egypt - A Multi Million Dollars Jewish funds from Austria and the World Bank funded the construction of the Agus hydroelectric power plants in Muslim’s Lake Lanao, Mindanao South of the Philippines, this was reported by RCAPP an environmental group in Cairo, Egypt. Agus 3, which will soon rise in Pantar, Lanao Del Norte will generates another 230 Mw of cheap electricity. ‘Combined together the seven Agus hydroelectric power plants will have an installed capacity of 920 Mw that supplies 80% of the power requirements of the island of Mindanao,’ said Alaoddin D. Lucman, Chairman of RCAPP Cairo International chapter. The power plants built with Jewish money have been criticized with its defective designs and facilities. “ The three regulation Dams built along the Agus river have obstructs the free and natural flow of waters from Lake Lanao to the Agus river while its dredging lines and other facilities have brought flooding in the Basak and Baloi plains” said Mohammad Akil Dardagan, Secretary General of RCAPP. “Worst over 40,000 hectares of agricultural land were flooded with waters, while Mosques and houses submerged with waters.” Chairman Lucman pointed out. It was further reported that the cloud shedding activities of the National Power Corporation (NPC) state owned company that manages the Agus hydroelectric power plants have added miseries to the Muslims living around Lake Lanao. During dry season, the National Power Corporation spray the clouds with salts mixed with chemicals in order to create artificial rains and increased the volume of waters in Lake Lanao. “From 2000-2003, there were 43,000 Muslims sicked after drinking contaminated waters of Lake Lanao while 403 died.” Chairman Lucman added. The Jewish built Agus hydroelectric power plants have endangered the faith and livelihood of the 1.2 Million Maranaos living around Muslim’s Lake Lanao, despite the Seven Billions Pesos (U$D130 Millions) power revenues ninety nine (99%) are sent to Manila which is 1,000 Km from Muslim’s Lake Lanao, A non-Muslim expert said here. The Philippine is traditionally Roman Catholic but has to turn for Jewish funds for its infrastructures and financial crisis. It was also reported the Muslims lunched series of protests for the protection of Lake Lanao and the payments of damages to uprooted Maranaos but the Catholic government in Manila continues to ignore them.
