MARK KEMPNER is currently the WML/POA President. He has lived in WML on North Lakeshore Drive with his wife Sunny since 1989. He has served on the Board of Directors for the past 6 years as Planning Committee and Civic Affairs Committee Chairperson and then as President. Mark worked through the Planning Committee to remediate the Drum area and build the new Drum pool and bathhouse. Through Civic Affairs, he fought successfully against the proposed bio mass plant, opened the POA properties forleashed dog walking and has opened Board meeting to respond to community members during good and welfare. Mark is active on many other committees and is currently supporting the building of the new maintenance facilities. In his first year as President, Mark has shown fiscal restraint while significantly upgrading all our common properties. Most importantly, he has put residents first and shown them the respect and courtesies they deserve. Mark believes as a lake community, we must take care of and preserve White Meadow Lake. MARK KEMPNER HAS BEEN ENDORSED BY MANY WHITE MEADOW LAKE RESIDENTS INCLUDING: WML/POA past Presidents: Joy Weinreich, Charlie Bogusat, Stu Kipilman, and Dan Anello. Former Board Members: Mitch Epstein,Dennis Avigliano, and Les Wexler. Current First Vice President Bruce Levy, Current Second Vice President: Mike Freedman Current Treasurer Jerry Tauber. Current Board Members: Isabel Schaefer, Gregg Bunch, Roger Crook, Stu Joseph, Pat Degnan, Maria Chaplin and Laura Graham. Women’s Club President: Suzie Palazzo and Jess Yarnell. I BELIEVE THE FOLLOWING, FIRST AND FOREMOST, WE MUST PRESERVE AND PROTECT WHITE MEADOW LAKE. RESIDENTS MUST BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND ALWAYS COME FIRST. THE BOARD, PRESIDENT AND STAFF WORK FOR AND REPRESENT OUR MEMBERS. OPEN COMMUNICATION WITH RESIDENTS BY THE BOARD AND STAFF ARE VITAL. WE MUST BE FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE WHILE MAINTAINING OUR COMMON PROPERTIES. TO ALWAYS STRIVE TO DO THE BEST JOB WE CAN AND NOT SETTLE FOR LESS. WE ARE A COMMUNITY BUILT ON VOLUNTEERISM AND COOPERATION. MEMBERSHIP IN OUR COMMUNITY IS A RIGHT, A PRIVILEGE AND AN OBLIGATION. Thank you for your support. Mark Kempner
