I am far from beaten, mortal....I am a warrior son of fabled Asgard!! - - Thor BLAST! This days been kicking me in the butt since it began! Every time I try something, it BACKFIRES. Gotta snag Goldys hammer...try to TURN it...YIKES! - -Spider-Man .......WHOM GODS DESTROY!!!!! Before they became the best one, two punch in the comic book industry with their meteoric run in the pages of the UNCANNY X-MEN, Chris Claremont and John Byrne last story had the Web head team up with the thunder god, THOR....and they battled THE LIVING MONOLITH! As a footnote to this story, this takes place during Thors mysteriously appearing and disappearing in the pages of the Avengers....Thor and Spidey always had good dialog and chemistry...even on past occasions have he asked that he join the ranks of the Avengers. For those that can appreciate a good story with artwork to hold up will chime my sentiments about the eventual breakup and bad blood Claremont and Byrne had for one another in the end of their run together...A far bygone era...that will never....EVER BE DUPLICATED...
