MATCH REPORT AGAIN FELIXSTOWE COME UP SHORT.. SUDBURY V FELIXSTOWE GAME ONE Stuart Bull V Jonny King A interesting first game with bully on a bit of form and kingy slowly getting his back after a recent dip. Both players found the treble in the early exchanges but it was kingy who kept the pressure going and took leg 1in 16 darts , then he took total control of the game as the bull started treading in manure and kingy wrapped up the game with a 18 and 22 dart legs for a 3-0 win . BULLY 19.59(2×100) KINGY 26.84(5×100,3×140). GAME TWO Brett Claydon V Gordon Davies-morris Gordon was always going to be up against it ,and thats how it played out with Brett taking leg 1in 19 darts. A much closer second leg with Gordon hitting 2×140 but Brett hit back with a 100,180,140 to take the leg in 14 darts . And Brett completed the job with a 109 finish and a 15 darts third leg . BRETT 31-31(5×100,2×140,1×180) GORDON 25.56(1×100,2×140). GAME THREE John Attwater V Keith Wright Both players started well finding the treble regularly and it was Dobbin who took the first leg in 17 darts . Dobbin continued to be just ahead in the next 2 legs and took them both in 19 darts with John waiting to pounce. JOHN 25.78(3×100,2×140) DOBBIN 27.33(4×100,2×140,1×180). GAME FOUR Martin Totman V Anthony Baker On paper this could have been a great game but both players struggled and found it hard work . Totty took the opening 2 legs in 30 and 26darts ,then he found his line and took the victory in a 18 dart 3rd leg .On reflection totty struggled because of a couple of players chatting , at first I thought slug was playing as we all know he can hear a gnat fart . TOTTY 20.31(4×100,1×140) SPUD 19.38(3×100) HALF TIME SUDBURY 2-2 FELIXSTOWE GAME FIVE Stephen Carrett V Ben Attridge Ben went into this game with no confidence as he had to drive and play sober which always proves a struggle .And being up against a bdo champion was never going to be easy.Steve proved to strong and came out a 3-0 winner . STEVE 23.86(7×100,2×140) BEN18.38(2×100,1×140). GAME SIX MARK THEOBALD V Shane Lee-amies Shane got out of the blocks the quicker and soon opened up a 2-0 lead which included a 180.Mark hit back with his own 180 and took the third leg and then with the momentum on his side he took leg 4 in 19 darts . Shane has shown this season that he is up for a fight and he hit back to take the win with a 19 darter of his own . MARK 20.97(3×100,3×140,1×180) SHANE 22.23(5×100,1×140,1×180) GAME SEVEN Ian Randles V Alan Currivan Both players started well and it was Alan who took out leg 1and then missed chances in leg 2 cost him and Ian levelled the game up . And it was Ian that held his nerve and took the victory 3-1 . IAN 20.29(6×100,1×140) ALAN 20.07(7×100) GAME EIGHT Jason Stalker V Ben Bradshaw Ben kicked off with a 125 but then found it hard going and struggled to find the form he has been showing over the past few weeks and it was Jason who took the victory 3-0.
