MCPS STRATEGIC PLANNING IS TUESDAY, MAY 6 The Marion County Public School System will be hosting a “Strategic Planning Summit” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, at Centre Square. Various members of the community have been invited to discuss their future goals for the school district. “This is not about a big production. This is genuinely about what are the goals going to be for Marion County Public Schools?” Superintendent Schlosser said. “Where do we want to be in the future?” Schlosser said the district plans to have several strategic planning sessions in the future to get feedback from the community. “We want the community to have a voice,” Schlosser said.
