Police are investigating two suspicious incidents that have occurred in the area of BIRCHWOOD AVENUE. Between the times of 06:30-07:00hrs on 23/11/2014 unknown offenders have approached the front of THE ORIENT Chinese takeaway, and using a large yellow metal gas canister have smashed the front door, however entry was not gained. The offenders have then entered the communal parking area to the rear of the flats and have used the same gas bottle to smash a window of a GREY PEUGOET 207 that was securely parked; they have then stolen an IPOD that had been left in the vehicle before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
