MEANING OF -THOSE WHO HAVE ONCE ENTERED A VAIKUNTHA PLANET CAN NEVER FALL DOWN. ( SB 3.16.12) -------------- -NO ONE FALLS FROM THE SPIRITUAL WORLD,OR VAIKUNTHA PLANE,FOR IT IS THE ETERNAL ABODE. (SB 3.16.26) ----------------- -ONCE ONE GOES TO THAT VAIKUNTHA PLANET,HE NEVER RETURNS. (SB 3.16.27) ------------------- -THE INHABITANTS OF VAIKUNTHA NEVER RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD.(SB 3.16.27) ------------------- SB 3.16.29 : Ordinarily, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY THAT one COME BACK FROM VAIKUNTHA AFTER ONCE TAKING BIRTH THERE. -Otherwise, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE for inhabitants of Vaikuṇṭha TO COME BACK TO THIS MATERIAL WORLD SIMPLY BECAUSE OF A BRAHMINICAL CURSE. -A DEVOTEE,ONCE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD,CAN NEVER FALL DOWN.( SB 3.16.29) -------------- SB 3.16.32: “How could they RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD IF THEY ENTERED VAIKUNTHALOKA.?” But factually THEY DID NOT ENTER, and therefore THEY RETURNED. but THEY WERE NOT MEANT TO STAY THERE.THEY CAME BACK. --------------- SB 3.16.35: PURPORT Here is clear proof of HOW A LIVING ENTITY -COMING ORIGINALLY FROM VAIKUNTHA -IS ENCAGED IN MATERIAL ELEMENTS. --------------- SB 3.16.37 GO BACK TO Godhead-BACK TO the Vaikuṇṭha planets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IT IS SAID: -THOSE WHO HAVE ONCE ENTERED( SB 3.16.12) -ONCE ONE GOES TO (SB 3.16.27) - NEVER RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD.(SB 3.16.27) SB 3.16.29 : -AFTER ONCE TAKING BIRTH THERE. -TO COME BACK TO THIS MATERIAL WORLD -A DEVOTEE,ONCE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD, SB 3.16.32: RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD IF THEY ENTERED VAIKUNTHALOKA.?” ---------------------------------------------- NOTE:What Krsna says and Srila Prabhupada repeats ABOUT THE CONDITIONED SOULS,COMING FROM THE MATERIAL WORLD, WHO ENTERS THE ABODE OF THE LORD IS: SB 3.15.25: -ONE CAN ENTER THE KINGDOM OF THE SUPREME LORD ONLY WHEN ONE IS HIGHLY DEVELOPED IN DESIRABLE QUALITIES. -ONLY PERSONS WHO HAVE DEVELOPED THE DESIRABLE QUALITIES CAN ENTER INTO DE KINGDOM OF GOD. -In the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, THE DEVOTEE´S DESIRABLE QUALITIES ARE DESCRIBED to be twenty-six in number. -Similarly, in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Third Canto, Twenty-fifth Chapter, verse 21, THE QUALIFICATIONS OF A SAINTLY PERSON are mentioned. -IT IS SAID THERE THAT A SAINTLY PERSON ELIGIBLE TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD is… -THESE ARE THE QUALITIES OF PERSONS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. -THAT SUCH A PERSON GRADUALLY BECOMES LIBERATED AND ENTERS THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS CONFIRMED IN Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam,Fifth Canto, Fifth Chapter, verse 2. -HERE IN THIS VERSE IT IS STATED THAT THOSE WHO HAVE ACTUALLY DEVELOPED THE SYMPTOMS OF HAPPINESS AND TEARS IN THE EYES BY CHANTING THE GLORIES OF THE LORD ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.15.39- OTHER ASPIRANTS. -THERE ARE OTHER ASPIRANTS WHO WANT TO ASSOCIATE WITH THE LORD PERSONALLY AS HIS SERVANTS. -WHEREAS HE GIVES SHELTER TO THE DEVOTEES IN HIS PERSONAL ABODES KNOWN AS THE VAIKUNTHALOKAS. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3,16,2: - WHEN A LIVING ENTITY IS PROMOTED TO VAIKUNTHA, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.12 THIS INCIDENT,THEREFORE,PROVES THAT THOSE WHO HAVE ONCE ENTERED A VAIKUNTHA PLANET CAN NEVER FALL DOWN. ------------- Note: It is very clear that there is talk about the conditioned souls who having attained perfection are promoted to Vaikuntha. Of these perfect souls who enter the kingdom of God it is said: THOSE WHO HAVE ONCE ENTERED A VAIKUNTHA PLANET CAN NEVER FALL DOWN. The case of Jaya and Vijaya IS NOT A FALLDOWN; IT IS JUST AN ACCIDENT. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.18 but one who worships the Supreme Personality of Godhead CAN ENTER INTO VAIKUNTHA. The Lord is eternal, the Lord’s servitor is eternal, and the Lord’s abode is also eternal. They are all described here as sanātana,or eternal. THE RESULT OF DEVOTIONAL SERVICE, THEREFORE,IS NOT TEMPORARY, as is the achievement of heavenly planets by worshiping the demigods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.19 -But the bhaktas, the devotees, want to associate with the Supreme Personality of Godhead eternally and serve Him. -BY THE MERCY OF THE LORD, DEVOTEES CAN EASILY PASS BEYOND THE NESCIENCE OF BIRTH AND DEATH AND ATTAIN THE ETERNAL ABODE OF THE LORD. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.24 Because the living entities are His PARTS AND PARCELS, ORIGINALLY they also belong to the same quality of eternal form as the Lord, but when they come in contact with māyā, the material potency, due to their FORGETFULNESS their existential constitution is COVERED. We should try to understand the appearance of Lord Kṛṣṇa in this spirit, as the Kumāras pray to Him. -He is eternally a cowherd boy at Vṛndāvana, -He is eternally the leader of the Battle of Kurukṣetra, and -He is eternally the opulent prince of Dvārakā and -the lover of the damsels of Vṛndāvana; all His appearances are meaningful because they show His real characteristics to THE CONDITIONED SOULS, WHO HAVE FORGOTTEN their relationship with the Supreme Lord. He does everything for their benefit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.26 AFTER FINISHING THEIR MOCK FIGHTING, BOTH THE DEVOTEE AND THE LORD ARE AGAIN ASSOCIATED IN THE SPIRITUAL PLANETS. That is very explicitly explained here. -THE CONCLUSION IS THAT NO ONE FALLS FROM THE SPIRITUAL WORLD, OR VAIKUNTHA PLANE, FOR IT IS THE ETERNAL ABODE. -BUT SOMETIMES, AS THE LORD DESIRES, DEVOTEES COME INTO THIS MATERIAL WORLD -AS PREACHERS OR -AS ATHEISTS. IN EACH CASE WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A PLAN OF THE LORD. ------------------- Note: Each time repeats the same idea that the conditioned souls who enters the eternal abode of the Lord,THOSE WHO HAVE ONCE ENTERED, will never fall again, never again will forget God. The incident of Jaya and Vijaya was not a fall, it was the desire of the Lord to serve Him in this way. So we should not worry for this incident of Jaya and Vijaya because when were back to God then we will never fall again. -Thus Jaya andVijaya WERE SELECTED BY THE LORD TO FIGHT WITH HIM IN THE MATERIAL WORLD, -and THAT WAS THE REASON THE SAGES CAME TO SEE HIM and ACCIDENTALLY THE DOORKEEPERS WERE CURSED. IT WAS THE LORD´S DESIRE TO SEND THEM TO THE MATERIAL WORLD, NOT PERPETUALLY,BUT FOR SOME TIME. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3,16,27 In Bhagavad-gītā it is said that in the spiritual world there is no need of sun, moon or electricity. This indicates that all the planets there are self-illuminated, self-sufficient and independent; everything there is complete. Lord Kṛṣṇa says that ONCE ONE GOES TO THAT VAIKUNTHA PLANET, HE NEVER RETURNS. THE INHABITANTS OF VAIKUNTHA NEVER RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD, BUT THE INCIDENT OF JAYA AND VIJAYA WAS A DIFFERENT CASE. THEY CAME TO THE MATERIAL WORLD FOR SOME TIME,AND THEN THEY RETURNED TO VAIKUNTHA. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE:AGAIN it is said the same idea: ONCE ONE GOES TO...,and “never RETURNS.” What refers to the souls who were conditioned in the material world. It is said: -ONCE ONE GOES TO THAT VAIKUNTHA PLANET, HE NEVER RETURNS. -NEVER RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD, ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.29 Ordinarily, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY THAT -the four sages could be so angry with the doorkeepers, -nor could the Supreme Lord neglect His two doorkeepers, -nor can one COME BACK FROM VAIKUNTHA AFTER ONCE TAKING BIRTH THERE. All these incidents, therefore, were designed by the Lord Himself for the sake of His pastimes in the material world. Thus He plainly says that it was done with His approval. Otherwise, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE for inhabitants of Vaikuṇṭha TO COME BACK TO THIS MATERIAL WORLD SIMPLY BECAUSE OF A BRAHMINICAL CURSE. The Lord especially blesses the so-called culprits: “All glories unto you.” A DEVOTEE,ONCE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD, CAN NEVER FALL DOWN. THAT IS THE CONCLUSION OF THIS INCIDENT. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTA:It is said “once accepted by the Lord…” .What refers to the souls who come from be conditioned in the material world. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.32 PURPORT It is clear from this verse that all the incidents took place at the entrance of Vaikuṇṭhaloka. In other words, the sages were not actually within Vaikuṇṭhaloka, but were at the gate. It could be asked, “How could they RETURN TO THE MATERIAL WORLD if they entered Vaikuṇṭhaloka?” But factually they did not enter, and therefore THEY RETURNED. There are many similar incidents where great yogīs andbrāhmaṇas, by dint of their yoga practice, have gone from this material world to Vaikuṇṭhaloka— but they were not meant to stay there. THEY CAME BACK. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.35 TRANSLATION Lord Brahmā continued: Those two principal doorkeepers of the Personality of Godhead have now entered the womb of Diti, the powerful semen of KaśyapaMuni having covered them. PURPORT Here is clear proof of HOW A LIVING ENTITY -COMING ORIGINALLY FROM VAIKUNTHA -IS ENCAGED IN MATERIAL ELEMENTS. i ------------------------- NOTE:IT IS SAID HOW A LIVING ENTITY “COMING ORIGINALLY FROM VAIKUNTHA” Here it says very clearly that originally initially, previously, the living entity comes from Vaikuntha, the place of origin from which the living entity comes to this material world is Vaikuntha. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SB 3.16.37 One who continues to serve the Lord even in reverse conditions is assured that he will GO BACK TO Godhead, BACK TO the Vaikuṇṭha planets. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is disappointing to see how very old devotees expose ideas coming from the Gaudiya matha against the genuine teachings of Srila Prabhupada and all the acaryas, against basic common sense, against the most basic meaning of the most basic terms or words , in relation to the original position of the soul before it becomes a conditioned soul. It is disappointing to read statements like this: “... Das : Once a year means .27% of the time! To me, that is never. In BG Krishna says one who comes to his abode NEVER returns, but were all here, arent we??” He says: “one who comes to His abode NEVER RETURNS, but were all here, are not we ?? “ In accordance with these words, one who comes to His abode NEVER RETURNS. It is said RETURNS . Returns means a place youve been before. If youve never been to a place then you do not say to return,it just says go. Return means that you already have been there before. It is said do not return to that place where youve been before. So when he says one who comes to His abode clearly refers to those conditioned souls who were conditioned in the material world. ONE = CONDITIONED SOUL The clear meaning is: these conditioned souls who comes to His abode NEVER RETURNS TO THAT MATERIAL WORLD. So when this devotee says: “but were all here, are not we ?? “ So youre saying that we once been liberated from our material bondage, having returned to the spiritual world, to His abode, again we have fallen, we have returned to be conditioned. and this is why we are here? If this is the case then we can conclude that Krsna and His representative are liars. this is not the case we are still conditioned and yet we have not been qualifed to return with Krsna. Therefore to say that Krsna is a liar it is a lie. Then the conclusion is that NEVER means NEVER and Krsna is NOT a liar. The idea he wants to transmit is that Krsna says that no one falls from Vaikuntha, but we have fallen,we are here. “but were all here, arent we??” Thus suggests the mayavada idea that we have not fallen from the spiritual world, from the association of Krsna, from being originally eternally engaged in the devotional service to the Lord. This mayavadi idea is that before falling-down we were in a state of indecision and inactivity for an eternity.
