MEDIA COOPERATION: SENIOR GENERAL’S DISCUSSION WITH PRESS COUNCIL ---------------------------------------------------- Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met members of the Myanmar Press Council (Interim) led by vice-chairman U Khin Maung Lay yesterday. They agreed to tighten media cooperation between the two parties. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing stated that the army will stand firmly and move forward for development of democratic practice in the country elaborating its stance on peace and economic growth. The press council also expressed the difficulties and current problems being faced by the journalists in covering the news.
