MEDIA INVITATION 15TH ANNUAL OECS MINISTERIAL SUMMIT ON SUSTAINABLE USE OF LIVING MARINE RESOURCES: ST. GEORGES, GRENADA, MONDAY, MAY 26, 2014 - GIS: _ The media is invited to the official opening ceremony of the 15th Annual Ministerial Meeting on Sustainable Use of Living Marine Resources. The meeting convenes at the Flamboyant Hotel and Villas, on May 27th and 28th 2014 from 9:00am. Grenada’s Minister of Fisheries - Hon. Roland Bhola will deliver the feature address and declare the summit officially open. Attending this year’s summit is the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Takao Makino, Japans’ Ambassador to the OECS, His Excellency Yoshimasa Tezuka and other top Japanese Government officials. The meeting also brings together representatives from six OECS Member States namely Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Suriname and host country Grenada. Invitees are kindly asked to establish camera positions at least by 8:45am. Please note that there will be a press conference immediately after the opening ceremony. (At the same venue)
