MEDIA RELEASE “Two-Party system broken” – former Labor insider A successful Labor Party campaigner, with 20 years experience, has had enough and is making a stand against the two-party political system in Australia. Criselee Stevens is appealing to voters in New South Wales and across Australia to turn their backs on the Liberal/Labor machines to ensure Australians have a voice in the Senate. Mrs Stevens said: “The system is broken; I’ve seen it from the inside. These parties are looking after themselves, not the Australian people, and it is critical to the well being of all Australians that the Senate be a House of review – not a rubber stamp for absolute power.” As the lead Senate candidate for the Australian Voice Party in New South Wales, Criselee Stevens is calling on all Australian voters to join a mass movement for change across our country to keep the Greens, Labor and Liberals out of the Senate. Former Australian Prime Minister Malcom Fraser expressed the same concerns last month, when he said that the major parties should not sit in the Senate. “Australian Voice is the only party that puts people before party politics. If you want change, then help us take the power in the disfunctional Senate away from the major parties. For Australia’s sake vote for Australian Voice candidates. Visit our website av.org.au for policies that will offer real hope for families, farmers, fishermen and small business ”, said Mrs Stevens.
