MEDIEVAL GAMING TOURNAMENT How this is going to work: Upon arrival at site, each participant will be allotted a given amount of English currency from the time of Henry V. (At the end of the tournament, you will be allowed to buy the currency at a set price per piece, but if you dont want to buy it, just turn it in at the end. :-) The goal of the tournament is to gain the most amount of money. This may be accomplished by gambling as much or as little as you want on pretty much anything. Want to play a game of Nine Mens Morris for a half penny? Thats fine. Want to bet a pound that James can sever a pig leg in one blow? Go for it. Want to challenge an opponent to a match with the winner getting a groat from the loser? Be my guest. The point is, by 11:00 pm on Saturday, every one turns in their winnings and whoever has the most money wins a prize. (But seriously-dont keep the coins if youre not going to pay for them. That stuffs pricey!)
