MEDITATIONS ON THE BOOK OF KINGS 1 by Good Seed # 230 : Generation ME I THINK He who overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God ( Revelation 3:12 ) ( Read 1 Kings 7 : 13-26 ) To make the tabernacle and the items contained therein , the Lord appointed Bezalel , a talented craftsman, filled with the Spirit of God , skill , intelligence and knowledge in all manner of workmanship (Exodus 31:2-3 ) . For the manufacture of bronze objects , Solomon called Hiram , king of Tyre , also a craftsman filled with wisdom , and understanding, and science to make every work of brass ( v. 14 ) . We also seek these spiritual qualities , for so the Lord can use us to do all kinds of works . The first project of Hiram was the casting of two large pillars with its splendid capitals . Remember the Lords promise to the church at Philadelphia : The winner , makes him a pillar in the temple of my God. The Lord said to the believers : I know thy works ... thou hast a little strength ( Revelation 3:12, 8 ) . But the names that Solomon gave to the columns , Jachin and Boaz , mean respectively He states and Strength . Precious response to this condition of the redeemed : if we experience weakness in this world , there is stability and strength eternal in heaven , whose glory the temple is
