**MEEKA is STILL EXTREMELY URGENT** Meeka (fka Coty - NCAC) has been in a TEMPORARY emergency foster to avoid having to place her into boarding for a couple of weeks, and still no one has stepped up for her! She needs an adopter or a LT foster! Meeka was brought to NCAC as a micro-chipped stray on 12/2/13. Owner was called and NEVER came for her! She stayed at NCAC for over 3 months - Can you imagine living in a kennel that long? Neither could Meeka! The ACO officer moved her to her office so she wouldnt be so stressed, and thats where she continued to live until we rescued her on 3/15/14. If you live in Kenosha or Milwaukee counties, we have licensed professional dog walking/pet sitters who will help us give you the support you need for her, but she can be fostered anywhere within 2 hours of Kenosha, WI!
