Second gathering in connection with Meet-the-Students Campaign held in Hazara As part of the Meet-the-Students Campaign, a second gathering of Pakistan Study Centre’s graduates was held in Hazara University Mansehra on 29th August 2014. Director Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar, Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam presided over the meeting. The meeting was well attended. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that the aim of the activity is to reach out highly trained human resource, identify their problems, enhance their capacity and prepare them for future responsibilities. He said that the first gathering was held in Swat, both the meetings were successful and they attracted good number of current and former students of the Centre. He informed that similar gathering have been planned for Chitral, Parachinar, Peshawar and southern districts of the province. Speaking on the occasion, former graduates, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Bali, Mr. Akhtar Iqbal and Hafiz Nasiruddin lauded efforts of Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam regarding promoting students-friendly activities. They welcomed the establishment of Association of Pakistan Studies Alumni (APSA) for the centre and vowed to strengthen the same.
