MEET HOPE - WITH OUT HOPE THERE IS NOTHING - ALL SHE HAS EVER EATEN FOR OVER TWO YEARS IS STALE BREAD. THEN SHE WAS DUMPED TO STARVE TO DEATH BY THE LOCAL SHEPHERED. Two months ago a local lady just outside of Athens saw a very sad looking dog with her breasts hanging down so she recently had given birth to some puppies. The kind lady asked around if anyone recognized her and after 2 weeks a woman told her that a shepherd owned her and fed her only dry bread . He disposed of the puppies just after they were born :-( and he kept only one puppy that is now 4 months old . The woman lives opposite the shepherd and used to feed Hope when she could because she was very thin and only got stale bread to eat never anything else . One day she stopped seeing her and asked the shepherd and he told her she run away but the lady knew it wasnot true because she had a witness that saw the shepherd and his wife leaving Hope in gerakas with their car. Hope is safe in foster but she needs a home and soon she cant stay there for long. Hope is 2.5 years old she has an ear infection and the blood test showed elevated white blood cells though the tests for erlichia and kalazar were negative . Hope is now taking Ronaxan and dexoryl for the infection and when this therapy is over she will be vaccinated and neutered. The foster home she is in has six dogs and they can not keep her for long and we need a home so we need your help to SHARE this story. Hope gets along very well with other dogs , she likes to play and almost never barks . Hope is now 28 kg and her foster is trying for her to gain another 2 kg .
