MEET ROWDY - Rowdy came from a bad situation and we did not know why he was so scared of people. Linda, one of our workers has a special knack for the neediest ones, and has worked miracles with getting him to trust her,. She actually laid down on the ground with him to let him know she was not going to hurt him. Amazing! We were very full when he first came in and he was put in the back by himself to ease his transition.... This week we moved him up front to a cabin area ( Allan had to trap him as he was petrified) and after he moved him it was like the light switch went off and he jumped up on Allan and was SO FRIENDLY-out of the blue! I thought Allan was going to cry ! We are beside ourselves with happiness that he has turned the corner and will make someone a great dog!
