MEET SANDY OLTZ WHO WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING JULIANNE MOORE, STAR OF STILL ALICE, UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT OF EARLY-ONSET ALZHEIMERS... Julianne Moore, star of STILL ALICE, worked with Sandy Oltz to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day challenges of Early-Onset Alzheimers Disease. Her performance is easily the most critically acclaimed of the film awards season. Moore has already won Best Actress awards at the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards, and is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award (to be broadcast January 25, 2015) and Oscar (to be broadcast February 22, 2015) for her role in STILL ALICE. STILL ALICE is the story of Alice Howland, who is happily married with three grown children, and a renowned linguistics professor who starts to forget words. When she receives a devastating diagnosis, Alice and her family find their bonds tested. There is currently no release date scheduled for this film in Collier County - but when there is, you can count on hearing it on our Facebook page first. We will be first in line to see this critically acclaimed film on an issue that is so close to our hearts.
