MEET THE 2014 READING BUCCANEERS PERCUSSION STAFF! We are pleased to introduce the uncommonly talented people who will design and teach the 2014 Reading Buccaneers percussion program. A 2006 graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education, Johnny returns to the Buccaneers for his third season as Percussion Arranger and Caption Head. He has taught with the Buccaneers since 2007. Trujillo is currently band director at Norristown High School, where he leads the concert band program and piano classes. Earning his MM in percussion performance from Rice University, Greg has also studied privately in the fields of composition, conducting, and music theory. Currently, Greg is the Percussion Director for Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. He is an active arranger and composer for marching bands and indoor programs throughout the country. FRANK McGUIGAN (Battery Supervisor, Snares) returns to the Buccaneers percussion staff for his fourth consecutive season in 2014. Frank started his drum corps career a member of the Buccaneers percussion section from 2000 through 2004. In 2006, he joined the percussion staff of the Jersey Surf, serving as snare drum instructor, and continued in that capacity until 2009.
