MEETING REMINDER: This month we will be meeting at the CHILDS PARK YMCA. This will be the third in a series of five public workshops focused on preparing the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Plan will be held at Childs Park Recreation Center, 691 43rd Street South Tues, Sept 16th. Free and open to the public, the 6 p.m workshop is centered on revitalizing the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) which primarily includes the Midtown and Childs Park areas of St. Petersburg -- generally located betweenFourth St. S. and 49th St. from First Ave. N. to 30th Ave. S. City Staff will be presenting an overview of how other communities in Florida utilize their tax increment financing revenue to fund redevelopment activities. The workshop format will also offer an opportunity for input and recommendations from neighborhood association members and interested citizens.
