MEMBER NEWS: BioTools President Named Fellow of SAS Dr. Rina K. Dukor, President of BioTools, Inc., of Jupiter Florida, has recently been nominated and elected to the recognition of a Fellow of the Society For Applied Spectroscopy (SAS). The selection was based on the significant contributions, understanding and promotion of spectroscopic techniques of vibrational circular dichroism and Raman optical activity demonstrated by Dr. Dukor. It is a real honor to be recognized as a Fellow by the Society and has been an absolute pleasure to serve SAS both regionally and nationally over the years, remarks Dr. Dukor. BioTools is the recognized leader in advanced chiroptical instrumentation, software, and services. Founded in 2000, BioTools has R&D, sales, customer support, contract research lab and manufacturing facilities in Jupiter, Florida, and a division, BioTools Europe, headquartered in the United Kingdom. BioTools has established partnership with the Ghent University and the University of Antwerp to operate the European Centre for Chirality (EC2) and several Centers for Chiroptical Spectroscopy in China (C3). The Society for Applied Spectroscopy, founded over 50 years ago, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the practice and application of atomic and molecular spectroscopy. The objective of the Society is to advance and disseminate knowledge and information concerning the art and science of spectroscopy and other allied sciences. The Society publishes internationally recognized, peer reviewed journal Applied Spectroscopy.
