MEMBER OF THE MONTH KELLY RIESTERER Dear LPSF Owners, I would like to nominate Kelly Riesterer for member of the month. She hasnt been at LPSF since it opened or anything, but she joined Lake Park and came here from Gold’s Gym approx. 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. Kelly is motivated, loyal, fun and she is dedicated to her health. She comes to LPSF and takes the Body Pump, Kickboxing, Kettlebell and Attack (sometimes Spin) classes and she also does the treadmill or elliptical, when she isnt exercising outside..... and she is at the gym 4-5 times a week. She is eating very healthy and has lost over 160 pounds in the last 1 1/2 years!!!!!! She had the bariatric surgery in September of 2012 but had to prove to her doctors and herself that she could lose 50 pounds before they would consider the surgery (which she obviously did) from there, with healthy eating habits, hard work, exercise and self control- Now down over 10 pants sizes and less than half of the woman she used to be, all she complains about is being cold because she doesnt have all that body fat anymore!!!! One memory that stands out for me was when she told me her son, Robbie put his around her to give her a hug one day, and he said, Mom- I can touch my arms in the back when I hug you now! She had Sleep Apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. (among several other health issues!) None of which she has any longer! I have known Kelly for over 25 years and this is a huge accomplishment for her and I am very proud to call her my friend!! Attached are before and after photos. Thank you for your consideration!
