#MEMBERREQUEST - Hi I wonder if people can help me out. When my fiancé and I started planning our wedding we picked our colour scheme quiet early. As a result I asked my mum and my mother in law not to wear white or red (our colours). As they are both very important people I want them to stand out but also my bridesmaids will be on show to. Since then my mum has gone out and bought 1 x white dress and 1 x red dress for the day and Ive asked her not to wear either. She has since been slating me off to friends and family saying im being unrealistic, selfish and Im apparently going to be telling guests what they can and cant wear ... I am definitely NOT doing this. Am I being unreasonable or am I right in thinking shes just being difficult? This is MY MUM, I want her to be part of the day as much as possible and the planning but Im finding this difficult now. I know this day is about marrying my best friend but I do still want things to be right since we are only doing this once and weve been saving and paying for everything ourselves. I just want people to relax and be happy on our day. - so am I being unreasonable?
