REALTOR of the Year: The REALTOR of the Year is selected based on their REALTOR spirit (30%); business accomplishments (30%); his/her service to the local and/or state associations (25%); their service to their community (15%). As you can see, REALTOR of the Year is not awarded based on sales volume. Andy Akin Distinguished Service Award: The Andy Akin Distinguished Service award is presented in recognition of dedicated service and outstanding contributions to our Board of REALTORS. The nominee should be someone who upholds the code of ethics, shows integrity, has a good working knowledge of real estate, is cooperative with others and always displays a professional image. Student of the Year: The Student of the Year is presented to our member who has accumulated the most real estate related educational hours between September 15, 2013 and September 15, 2014.
