MEMO TO: THE ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA UNIVERSITY (ADZU) COMMUNITY (02 October 2013) RE: GRADE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL RESUMPTION OF CLASSES From the meeting of the AdZU Presidential Management Team (PMT) yesterday morning, Tuesday, 01 October 2013, I wish to inform the community on the following: I. SECOND QUARTER CLASSES: With the public declaration that the clearing operations in the conflict areas will take more or less another fourteen (14) days (covering the weeks September 30-October 12, 2013), and considering that only two (2) weeks are left for the second quarter, NO REGULAR CLASSES shall be conducted for the rest of the second quarter . An Alternative Academic Work for Mathematics, Science, and English shall be undertaken per grade/year level. We request students, assisted by their parents/guardians, to access the AdZU website for instructions which shall be available starting October 14, 2013 (Monday). Those who do not have access to Internet may contact their respective Moderators who shall be available in their respective campuses for the week October 14-18, 2013 (Monday-Friday) – Grade School @ La Purisima Campus, High School @ Tumaga Campus. II. RESUMPTION OF THIRD QUARTER CLASSES: Regular Classes for the Third Quarter shall resume on November 4, 2013 (Monday). III. WORK I wish to reiterate that all Faculty and Staff in all Units/Offices are expected to report to work effective September 30, 2013 (Monday). Office Hours in all Units for the period September 30-October 11, 2013: Monday to Friday (Morning) 8:00 – 12:00; (Afternoon) 1:00 – 4:00 Saturday (Morning Only) 8:00 – 12:00 Regular Office Hours shall resume effective October 14, 2013 (Monday) Monday to Friday (Morning) 8:00 – 12:00; (Afternoon) 1:00 – 5:00 Saturday (Morning Only) 8:00 – 12:00 For your information and guidance.
