MEMORANDUM: GUIDANCE IN THE WEARING OF BFP V-NECK ACTIVITY SHIRT dated JULY 10, 2013 Reference: Memo thru fax duly signed by CSUPT CARLITO S ROMERO, DSC, Officer-In-Cahrge dated 28 May 2013. In reiteration with the above reference, be informed that i has been observed that the V-Neck Activity Shirt is worn by our personnel in places and on occasions which are not prescribed. It appears that the shirt becomes very ordinary rather than a uniform. Further, be informed that the Uniform Committee-NHQ is authorized to research, develope, design, and implement policies on BFP Uniforms is in the process of designing the appropriate lower garment which will be paired with the V-neck Activity Shirt and crafting the policy governing the wear of the said shirt. Momentarily and for the purpose of uniformity, the activity shirt shall be worn during: a.) Tree Planting b.) Fun Run c.) Walk for a Cause d.) Physical Fitness Activities During the above-mentioned activities, the V-neck Activity Shirt shall be paired with dark blue denims/maong pants except for Fun Run and Physical Fitness Activities wherein it must be paired with dark blue jogging pants/short pants as may be prescribed by appropriate authority. The V-neck activity shirt must not be worn in any activity other than those mentioned. Further, it must not be worn as inner garment for the GOA nor it shall be worn a substitute for the GOA when reporting to any office or ion transacting official business with agencies, establishments and other official activities. This guidance shall be effective immediately and must be observed until the approval of the Policy on the Wear of the V-neck Activity Shirt. For information and strict compliance.
