Hopefully it will make getting meds and fluids , etc easier. The blood count got a little worse today so they are watching her closely to determine if a transfusion is going to be necessary. SPECIAL NEEDS: We need to continue to pray for some young People who are struggling with drug addiction. Pray they get the desire within themselves to want to get help. Pray for the parents as they go through this ordeal with their sons/daughters. Ruth MacAdams Riley I would like to have our troups prayed for as they are always being sent into harms way! I would also like to pray for our students, they are challenged daily by their peers and want them to stay strong in their beliefs and their faith! JUST A THOUGHT Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Psalms 141:2–3 ESV David prayed that the Lord would set a guard over his mouth to keep him from saying things that he should not. A mentor of mine used to say, Words unspoken, you are their master. Words once spoken, you become their slave. James said “If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well” (James 3:3). If you can control your tongue, then you can control the rest of your body. In the Old Testament (Num. 14:28) the Lord said “what I have heard you say, I will do to you”. In the New Testament (Mat. 12:36) Jesus said “I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned”. So we have an unchanging pattern throughout time that what comes out of your mouth, directly affects your life and your circumstances. Do not speak bad things over your life or those around you. Say good things about them, or just say nothing. Stay positive in your speech. When you are speaking today, listen to the words that you are saying. Pray that God sets a guard over your mouth and makes you aware of your words. 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
