MESSAGE FROM MAYOR ARMSTEAD Attention Linden Residents, please be advised, New Jersey Gov. “Chris Christie has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of a blizzard forecasters say could blanket parts of the state in about two feet of snow by Wednesday.” Linden residents are urged to stay off the roads so our first responders and public safety officials can safely respond to any emergency situations. If you must travel, please take the appropriate precautions, keep an extra flashlight, blanket, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency and drive safely. If there is a need to report potentially dangerous situations, contact the Linden Police Dept. at 908 474 -8500 for Non-emergencies. For critical emergencies please call 911. Also, to report downed power lines or outages, contact your utility company. PSE&G customers call 1-800-436-7734.
