MESSAGE OF THE DAY: Have you ever caught yourself paying close attention to someones reaction in response to a situation/circumstance?!? For instance, after stubbing a toe or accidentally hitting a finger with a hammer?!? What have you witnessed?!? How did they react?!? Often times, we will find out what we are truly made of by what comes out of our mouths in both good and bad circumstances. The change in conduct and character in our lives, is considered a type of spiritual fruit (as referenced in Galatians 5:22). In fact, a Christians life should be characterized by these things. Can you say that you are producing fruit or is the opposite true? Instead of the spiritual fruits, is there hatred, bitterness, prejudice, gloom, turmoil, a short temper, worry, pride/arrogance, or do you lack self control? If any of the previous are true, then you either dont know God at all or its time to recommit yourself to Him! BOTTOM LINE: People should be able to look for (and find) fruit in your life. Why? Because a disciple of Christ will produce spiritual fruit. Jesus said, my true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father (John 15:8). Not to mention, He also says in Matthew 7:20, by their fruits you will know them. So...can others identify spiritual fruit in your life? Remember, people are always watching you and listening to you. Are you pointing them to Jesus?!? #thinkaboutit Blessings all around!
