***MESSAGE TO ALL NOVEMBER CRAFTERS/CUSTOMERS*** Hi all, Twickenham Craft Fairs will be donating £15 in goods directly to Age UK Twickenham on the day of our next fair (22nd November) so that they are able to hand out free #Christmas items to pensioners at their annual Christmas dinner, also to say a big thank you for letting us use some of their tables at each of our fairs :-) If you would like to help by donating, please can you give one/some of the following items: Any suitable handmade item you would like to donate, Small box of mince pies, Brandy snaps, Individual Christmas Pudding, Specialist teas, suitable Christmas items, Miniature bottle of wine, Winter soup, Tinned items you would have at Christmas, Hot chocolate, Mulled wine, Christmas chutney, Moisturiser, Any items that would help in the cold (gloves, scarf, shawl, mini hot water bottle, blanket), Christmas decorations, bubble bath, Chocolates, Sweets or anything else along these lines but concentrating on gift ideas and things that would be a treat or something they would not normally be able to buy themselves on a pension. ***It goes without saying, but please, please, NO items that are too heavy, dangerous or perishable - all items must be suitable for the over 65s and they MUST have an expiry date of at least 3 months from the date of the fair to give adequate time to be used*** This is TOTALLY voluntary and there is no minimum or maximum donation, everything will be greatly received - The box for Age UK will be clearly labelled on the day, so please just add to it with whatever you want to give. As I started these fairs for the local community, its only right that we try to help others have a great Christmas and to hopefully spread a bit of happiness at a difficult time of year.
