MESSAGE TO ENEMIES OF OUR KINGDOM At the Orolu local government general meeting of All Progressive Congress (APC) {a Nigerian popular political party ruling in 15 states in Nigeria and which hopefully will also take over the government of Nigeria in the next general election} held on Thursday 30th October 2014, one Mr. Orisawale Kilani, who is a leader of the party, caused a letter written by some lawyers who are members of the party from Orolu Local Government to be read to hearing of the mammoth crowd of members. I want to affirm that I am a party to that letter. I signed it as did all other lawyers whose names appear on it. However, I was informed by my father ( I love you dad) who was present at the meeting as Olufon Orolu Ward 1 Chairman that the same Orisawale Kilani caused another anonymous letter written in Yoruba language to be read to the hearing of the crowd present at the meeting and he announced that I wrote it! For that, Kilani Orisawale called on party membership to rain curses on me! He incited them to attack me where ever they see me. I take that as threat to my life and if the threat is not withdrawn, I assure you, I will fight it legally. Should anything untoward happen to me,let the whole world know that Orisawale Kilani is behind it. I have had the privilege of the content of the said letter which I hereby gladly approve of if the ward chairmen and Alaga Iwoye are not attacked in it but I still vehemently deny the authorship of same. I realize everything stated in that letter is the truth. It correctly and succinctly enumerate evil APC leadership is doing in Orolu Kingdom which may affect the fortune of the party (God forbid) in the area in coming elections. I must express my appreciation to Prince Kamil Oyedele, a likable person whom I love so much. Politics apart, anyone who is close to Prince Kamil Oyedele will know that he is very intelligent and amiable. The danger is going close to him. Once you are close to him, he will infect you to love him. Kamil Oyedele rose above egoistic politicking and demonstrated higher intelligence. He knew I wouldn’t have written an anonymous write up. I am not afraid? A riffle doesn’t act silently. I don’t hide if I am fighting you. Please readers; I am not speaking for or against 3rd term here. “Aala ni yoo fi oko ole han (the end shall justify the means)”. Oriswale Kilani has also embarked on harassment of my father as the Olufon Orolu Ward 1 Chairman of APC. He is not the party Chairman, he was removed as such for his irrelevance and unfitness. However, I don’t know in which capacity he is giving directive to party members in Ward 1 not to attend meeting where my Dad is present. I also thank the party membership in the Ward who maintain that they cannot be remote controlled. I repeat if this harassment and threat to life continues, I will fight back legally. I only respect Prince Akinjide Akinyooye for his intervention, though not a member of the party but a patriotic son of Orolu who sues for peace in the land. I will not fold my hands while unscrupulous people like Orisawale Kilani drag the future of our land into quagmire. On Thursday, the 23rd day of October 2014, an enemy of Orolu Kingdom had announced that the APC had zoned the position of its Legal Adviser in Osun state to Orolu local government. He further announced that that position had been offered to Barr. Olusegun Olatoye who is currently Secretary to the Local Government but Mr. Olatoye declined the position. So sadly, and selfishly too,Orisawale stated that the position would be traded off because there is no other lawyer in the entire kingdom let alone our great party. The man who is not a lawyer knew very well that a son of one of the ward chairmen, and so many other young men and women from Orolu Kingdom are lawyers who are all members of the same political party who have always contributed one way or the other to the development and advancement of the party. The lawyers in the party at the local government level had written a petition to protest the trading off of this prestigious post to our sister community to bring home the inconsequential Assistant Youth Leader for Orolu land.
