Tennis--- While Serena Williams is the best womans player in the world, Maria Sharapova is the best clay court specialist; she cemented that claim on Saturday by winning the French Open in three sets, 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 ousting Simona Halep. It was Sharapovas third consecutive French final, and her second victory in three years. Sharapova only has one loss on clay this year. She fell to Ana Ivanovic in the Internazionali dItalia. Williams bounced back and closed the gap with a clay tournament win of her own. But her loss to the WTA 35th-ranked Garbine Muguruza, early at Roland Garros confirmed what even Sharapova or anyone else for that matter couldnt have imagined prior to her recent success, shes the worlds best on clay. Sharapova was seeded seventh in this years tournament, and she became the lowest seed to win the womens singles title since No. 17 Francesca Schiavone won in 2010. BULLDOZER
