MH370 UPDATE This is actually old news that surfaced very early in the event, around the 1st week. It goes against the Inmarsat Ping calculations as well as the subsequent FDR ping signals that were picked up before the battery ran out. If it is really up North, the site is just 1 1/2 hours from last point of contact. Given that the last Ping was at 0819hrs Malaysian Time, what was the plane doing for 4 1/2 hours before it went down in the bay of Bengal? Bay of Bengal is a very busy airway and shipping lane, so if the plane went down there, and the Umrah Mak Cik saw it, how come no one else did? The Scenario - My Version 1. The Plane hit the water at or around 0819. 2. The Plane was flown to the South Indian Ocean deliberately by someone skilled and with opportunity to do so. 3. The reason why the someone did this will never be known. 4. The Plane carries sufficient fuel to stay airborne only up to 0830 - 0845. 5. There are no survivors. 6. The lack of ELT Signals cannot be explained with full uncertainty at this time. 7. The Doppler calculations are accurate. 8. I am certain the Plane is somewhere around where they are searching but it will be a long search. 9. The lack of oil slick is because the plane had little fuel, and its engine oil volume is insignificant. 10. The lack of wreckage points out to a possible controlled ditching done by design. 11. The Malaysian Authorities has done numerous simulations based on available information in their hands, corroborated by the Americans, the British and the Australian Authorities. They are confident the plane is where they said it is. 12. Depending on the information from the Preliminary Report to be released tomorrow, the above points may be expanded or modified. edition.cnn/video/data/2.0/video/world/2014/04/29/newday-intv-david-pope-mh370.cnn.html
