MIAMI, Okla. — Three Miami police officers have been placed on paid administrative leave, Police Chief George Haralson said Thursday. Haralson would not release their names or the reason for the paid leave other than to say an internal investigation has been launched. The investigation is expected to last two weeks, he said. The three officers’ suspension is not connected to the incident where four Miami police officers were put on paid administrative leave in October and November, he said. That suspension was in connection with a traffic stop where two police officers are accused of using excessive force on a suspect, Haralson said. Read more here: tinyurl/l9mu48e
