MIKE DENA Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California Mike Dena studied Jazz music at San Francisco state, and after graduating with a degree in music, moved home to become a full time musician along the west coast. Mike has had his songs featured in surf videos by the legendary Robert August of the Endless Summer and played charity events for his organizations in Costa Rica. He has recorded with Lewis Richards, producer of such greats as Rome with Sublime, Slightly Stooped, and the Dirty Heads. He has toured with his solo project overseas, with radio and tv appearances spreading his original sound throughout Europe. He has shared the stage with such acts as Donovan Freinkenreiter, the Dirty Heads, Common Sense and many others. Dena launches his new solo project with the pure intention of using the powerful medium of music and storytelling to connect and communicate a universal longing that expresses the journey of being a true artist.
