MINOR COASTAL LOW We need rain and were going to get it! A weak coastal low will arrive Wednesday evening and mainly soak us overnight Wednesday into early Thursday. In general, we will see between 1 and 2 inches of rain. With the creeks and streams so low after a dry spell, this is good news. BUT....the morning rush Thursday will be very slow with ponding on the roads thanks to the round of heavy rain. At the shore, winds will be gusty out of the east and this will lead to minor tidal flooding at the times of high tide. If you live at the shore in areas that typically flood in minor events, remind yourself to move the car when you park Wednesday evening. After that we will see golden sunshine Friday-Sunday with highs at 80 or better! Summer is back....
