MIRACLES HAPPEN. PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED. FAITH WITHOUT ACTION IS DEAD. IF YOU BELIEVE IN THESE, SHARE... God has never abandoned us. He made sure that my parents (now both in Gods arms) and my family would not worry much about my education and financing. From public grade school (Marikina Elementary School 1980) to high school (Ateneo de Manila University 1985) and college (University of Santo Tomas (short story follows), my tuition and fees were provided for by God. Public school, no worries mate. High school, Tulong Dunong scholarship, pal. College, work your way, bro. My parents, in their humble ways (I miss you both), I am sure, wanted to help finance my education. I had no notion or slightest idea what Ateneo was. (God bless the late Fr. James OBrien, SJ who may seem to be forgotten by many). In college, I had to work and study, and work, and work, and quit studies, and work and have family, and work, and miss out on things, and fall, and pick myself up, and walk...the path prepared for me. I was supposedly from Batch 1989 AB Communication Arts. (Well, aside from paying tribute to God, my parents, my family and friends who helped me through, am sure Eric Gutierrez and Richard Mijares are smiling, too wherever they are. Rest In Peace brothers.) Though its been slow, growing, but theres a knowing that someday...little by little...in Gods appointed time, miracles happen. After 25 years of waiting, and working, and walking through...together with the Certificate of Graduation, here is the long-coveted, new and upgraded version, of the University of Santo Tomas college diploma. Cheers! God be praised! Please allow me to sum it all up in just one word: WAHOOO!!!
