MIX MARTIAL ARTS GAUTENG OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS An open competition for all Amateur MMA in the Fighting modes of Light Contact; Full Contact, Gi and NO-Gi Grappling. Place: Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre, Jan Smuts Park, Bedford and Elliot Street. Weigh In: All Eastern Gauteng clubs close to Brakpan can weigh in on 4th October 2013 at Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre starting at 18h00 till 19h00. (Friday is Compulsory for full contact fighters). Other modes of fighting can also weigh in on Friday evening. MMA Light, Gi and No Gi fighters can also weigh in on Saturday morning 5th October 2013 starting at 07h00 till 09h00 at the venue. Late comers will not be accommodated. Every participant must have a completed indemnity form at the weigh in. (this will be provided before you weigh in). All Full Contact Fighters must pass their medical at the weigh –in and Important! remember a copy of Doctors Note and mandatory Medical Test. Competition Procedure: Starts at 09h00 with the officials briefing. Competition begins at 09h30 Entries: Participation is R180 for one or two modes. For every extra activity you participate in you pay an additional R20. Once you have entered there are no refunds. Entry fees are paid at the weigh –in. Make sure you have the correct cash. (NB!! You can only do Tetami or Full Contact no cross over)
