The Missouri Legislative Session Ends on May 16 Act Now to Save Dogs and Stop Breed Discrimination in Missouri Dear Members and Friends, Because of YOUR actions, the bill that would protect people and pets was amended onto a Senate bill and passed the House. However, this victory was short-lived because the bill was stripped off in the conference committee. We arent giving up, but we need you to act. Currently in Missouri, small towns outlaw a variety of mixed-breed and purebred dogs, including German shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, chow chows and American pit bull terriers. That isnt right. Please click here to take action and ask your state senator and representative to pass any bill that includes a provision to prohibit breed-discriminatory ordinances and policies by local governments.
