MOM update: So here is what I know so far. Last week mom went to the hospital with dehydration caused by a bad side effect from a medicine she had to take. While there they performed a scan of he brain and found a 2 cm lesion (tumor) on her brain stem. This the same part of the brain it was on last time only its on the other side. Then on Thursday they did a MRI of her neck and found at least one more on her spine in that area. Mom and dad went to CTCA later that day and a MRI of her full spine was taken (no results from that yet). The doctors are focusing on her brain for now. THe tumor on her brain was causing swelling and a lot of pain. Swelling is under control and they are currently looking into what can be done for radiation. The radiologist said they are going to have to zap the brain tumor 2x a day for 15 business days which means just over 3 weeks thanks to weekends and holidays and she will not be home for Christmas.
