This is a really good God-breathed word today. For years I have been in a career field where there is always this push of expectation to do more, get more, & biggie size everything at all costs. If youre not then youre failing. And there is just something in my DNA that is so counter cultural to this taskmaster of a message. In some ways I just never fit into that pressing mold. And maybe my season I was made for is on the horizon. I sensed this question deep in me for many years, What is wrong with small? Ive even had a man speak into my life & tell me, Greg, God wants you to know that small is beautiful. I cannot tell you how those words gripped my heart as my spirit received them. And this blog post passed on by my friend J. Michael McDade is no different. I truly believe this has been part of my transition spiritually over the last 10 years. I havent fully arrived either. I am probably just beginning to scratch the surface of what this means. And, there is probably a part of me that still pushes back against this message--just part of my re-orientation journey. But always remember, Small is beautiful in Gods eyes. A lesson I am continuing to learn.
