MOMMY QUESTION: On december 23rd my son was diagnosed with hand foot and mouth disease. It has been a month and he still has tons of bumps mainly on his lower legs but few on his arms shoulders and face. He get so itchy he screams. I called his doctor and they told me the only thing to help is itch cream. I have been doin that and he gets a tiny dose of benadryl to help not itch so much at night. Is this normal or should it be cleared up by now? It bothers me tjay his doctor isnt more concerned.
