MONDAY 18TH NOVEMBER, 2013 Jehovah Jireh, The God Of Financial & Material Miracles (3) 2 Kings 6:1-7 Today we will continue examining other manifestations of Jehovah Jireh for the fulfillment of our destiny and purpose on the earth. 8. The miracle of restoration of lost axe head. In 2 Kings 6: 5-7, one man borrowed an axe head and he lost it. That is just how wicked the devil can be, why not displace the axe head of somebody that had his own? Why should he attack the man that borrowed one to use? The reason is because the devil is not satisfied that you have a single problem. He wants to add other problems to your problems. But God is not satisfied that you have one blessing; He wants to add other blessings to your blessing. We see that God can restore the axe head to people that have lost theirs. An axe head is something that is crucial to the enlargement and expansion you need to fulfill your destiny in life. The devil wants to knock it out of your hand but God wants to put it back in your hands now. 9. The miracle of healing of the water of Jericho: In 2 Kings 2:19-22, the water of Jericho was said to be very poisonous. The city was well situated, yet nothing prospered in that land. There are cities today that no business, or enterprise succeeds there but God can cause you to succeed there, in spite of the negative report that has always been associated with the land. 10. The miracle of increased sources of income: Many people are tied down to their salaries but God through His miraculous intervention, wisdom, revelation and instruction can open other sources of income for you that you never knew you could earn money from. When you know the name of the Lord Jehovah Jireh and you call upon Him, He can come to you through divine ideas, divine instructions and practical steps to start a business or provide a service. 11. The miracle of divine reduction of expenses in your life: Do you know why many people are in shortage today? The supply is not enough to meet the demands of life they are facing. The devil piles supernatural expenses on some people’s finances to drain away their funds. Their lives are reducing while the cost of running their lives is increasing. 12. Jehovah Jireh makes ways, means and room available for you: He made room for Isaac and He opened the Red Sea for the children of Israel to pass through. He opened the Jordan for them to pass through. Whatever looks like the Red Sea before you, God will open it for you. God is showing you this truth so that you don’t have material hindrance and become a servant of men or a slave of the devil. The Bible says we will remember the name of the Lord, and we will rise up and stand upright. Prayer: I receive whatever axe head has been lost from my life (whether it is a job, a career, an opportunity, an anointing, a gift or grace). Every demonically added expense in my life be removed and grace for supernatural reduction on the expenses come on your life in Jesus’ name.
