MONDAY NIGHT DRUM CLASS In San Mateo, Ca Beginner/Intermediate level Learn rhythm essentials that can be applied to any drum and are popular at Drum circles. We will be working with the Djembe, The Dumbek and the Tar {frame drum} All levels can play together as there are multiple parts to each rhythm, with complex parts for the more experienced. Bring your own drum or play one of mine 7:30-9:30 pm Two Mon. evenings per month; Next class: September 30th, 2013 10 dollars per class (RSVP to save a seat and get the address) private lessons also available (25 for 90 min.) Yours in rhythm, Fern Fern has been teaching for 20 years, and teaching the drum for the last 4 years on a weekly basis. She has studied with Glen Velez and Layne Redmond on Frame Drums, and Zorina Wolf on Djembe and TKTN, and with many other teachers of different drums and styles, including: Drum Circle Facilitation with Arthur Hull.
