MONDAY PM UPDATE: The 11th Hour! Please read all the way through for a HINT, hint, hint in the post. WE NEED HELP! Fortunately we have had a few more adoptions, but… We really need foster care for those of our residents who havent been as fortunate yet, while Gerry is away for a week. THERE IS STILL TIME! Gerry has decided to remain tomorrow, in order to try to facilitate adoptions and hopefully, have prospective fosters come in, and, in case anyone wants to talk to her about volunteering for afternoons, evenings and weekends, when we most need help. If you prefer, you can call Gerry at (845) 353-3599. Please remember, Dapper Dog will be open everyday for grooming and pet supplies. We are staffed for all needs aside from adoption. We currently have 11 dogs who could use a home, be it forever or, for the week, from tomorrow, Tuesday 8/5 through Tuesday 8/12. Please consider fostering a rescue. This group is really so good. Mostly housebroken,good with everyone, small, adorable and very sweet, they would all make great house guests. :) To recap, Hopeful Tails will be open for adoptions and volunteering, whether to foster or to arrange to help in house. THE HINT, hint, hint… We are going to be adding a few new rescues to the Hopeful Tails Hotel. They are puppy mill rescue puppies. The most imminent arrivals are set to arrive tomorrow- 1 German Shepherd baby 1 Boxer baby We dont have any further into on any of those new rescue babies coming, a this point, including the 2 mentioned above. When I do, you will. If you want to come in tomorrow or call before (845) 353-3599, ask for Gerry, it may be a good idea. The purebred puppies from the puppy mills are generally in high demand. They very well may be adopted before I even have time to get further information to you. There will be no adoptions after tomorrow, until Gerry returns either Tues- 8/11 or Wed- 8/12. For those many of you still calling for Cavashon puppies, they have all been adopted. I will be keeping posting to a minimum after tomorrow, while Gerry is away. There wont be much to let you know about, but you never know. If I get word of anything you would want to know, Ill bring it here, so STAY TUNED, and check in on the page.
