MONSOON TIP: Venturing out in rains here are some safety tips on ride safety. 1. Make sure u wear a proper riding helmet with a clear visor and safety gear (jacket, gloves, riding pants, and boots) 2. Avoid riding in heavy rains when visibility is poor, take shelter and wait for the downpour to subside. 3. Cut down your speed to 50% of your comfort speed to avoid getting caught off-guard and so that you have enough reaction time to stop. 4. Keep a good distance between you and other motorists to avoid panic braking. 5. Be careful on waterlogged roads as water between your tyre and the road surface might send you slidding also known as aquaplaning. They also hide potholes and open manholes. 6. Incase of visors fogging up leave a crack open for cool air to come in, also application of dry shampoo on visors make the water droplets flow off but is not a fullproof solution. 7. Rains and windchill drop your core body temperature which may cause cramps and fatigue, use rainwear which snuggly fits over your jacket and pants. 8. Use headlights and hazard/warning lights to warn traffic of your pressence. 9. Make sure tyre pressure is correct for optimum grip. 10. Respect pedestrians and other road users. ***HAPPY MONSOON*** ( From--Nizam Sheikh ) Ride Safe Regards--Samit Wadhawan ( FOUNDER )
